Qhapaq Ñan

El Qhapaq Ñan (the Royal Road) is a 40,000 km road system that at one point in time connected all Andean communities from southern Colombia to Chile. Constructed largely by the Incan empire, our goal was to traverse a section of this trail system by bike from La Paz, Bolivia to Cusco, Peru documenting the culture and landscape of this UNESCO World Heritage site. What unfolded was a wild adventure full of unexpected mishaps.
