In 2019, Zelzin made history. She completed over 7,000 miles of hiking on the Appalachian, Pacific Crest, and Continental Divide trails to complete what is known as the Triple Crown. She became the first person from Mexico to achieve this. Now she dreams of building Mexico's first thru-hiking route, hiking over 2000 km through the Baja California Peninsula.

El Qhapaq Ñan (the Royal Road) is a 30,000 km trail system that at one point in time connected all Andean communities from southern Colombia to Chile. Constructed largely by the Incan empire, our goal was to traverse a section of this trail system by bike from La Paz, Bolivia to Cusco, Peru documenting the culture and landscape of this UNESCO World Heritage site. What unfolded was a wild adventure full of unexpected mishaps.

In April 2021, four riders lined up at the start of the 340-mile Iowa Wind and Rock gravel race. None of them crossed the finish line. Faced with a sense of defeat, they wanted a way to redeem themselves. 345 miles and 25,000 feet of climbing later, they did just that.
